About this listen

From Mike Talbot's journal:

"The End...has come and gone. This is the new beginning, the new world order and it sucks. The end for humanity came the moment the US government sent out the infected flu shots. My name is Michael Talbot and this is my journal. I'm writing this because no one's tomorrow is guaranteed, and I have to leave something behind to those who may follow."

So continues Mike's journey. Will he give up all that he is in a desperate bid to save his family and friends? Eliza is coming: Can anyone be prepared?

Best Zombie/Vampire Novel EVER!

So I read the first two books on Kindle a few years ago. I guess I’m just one of those sick folks that get off on descriptions of flesh eating monsters. I was truly blown away when I discovered this series is a fusion of two genres…Zombies and Vampires…This series rocks! I like it so much I’m considering buying a Frenchie and naming him Hank.

I’ve read the other reviews complaining of Talbet’s asides and “how can a former Marine be a germaphobe?” I’m a 22 year army vet and I hate bugs and if I was really being honest, I’d tell ya that I don’t like germs either…you take a field dump where the only water you have is on your hip and tell me you wouldn’t be skeeved out shaking someone’s hands…add deploying to the Middle East where the folks there actually wipe their ass with their hand…nope…I can seriously identify with Mike Talbet. I love his inner monologues.

Mike is the guy I hope to be if there is a real zombie apocalypse…smart, caring, sarcastic, funny and humble…”.

To the author: Mark, great job and thanks for a great story. I appreciate it and though I’m a bit of a tight wad when it comes to spending money, I am glad I bought your books…I will continue to do so with your books…if only because I have enjoyed my time reading your Zombie Fallout series and hanging out with the Talbets (and BT). Thanks again!

So good

It's a great listen. It's not predictable, the characters are unique and endearing, I'm so invested that I purchased a paperback copy for my mom to read. I am a bulldog owner/ lover and I gotta say Henry is my favorite.

Awesome

Love this series. I started this back before Audible carried his books. When I found out they carried all the books I was thrilled.

Still exciting

Never know what will happen next. Starting next in series sometime today. Can't wait to see what happens next. If a zombie gets Henry I may quit reading series.
