About this listen

In this groundbreaking audiobook, Donna Eden and David Feinstein (authors of Energy Medicine and Energy Medicine for Women) draw on the real-life experiences of couples who have attended their popular "Energies of Love" workshops, as well as their own relationship as husband and wife, to show how an understanding of your energy system and that of your partner can help you build a more harmonious and loving bond. A relationship begins with the meeting of two very different energies. This union of energies determines the ways in which you communicate, fight, love, and want to be loved. You cannot make your partner think like you or want what you want. But Energies of Love illustrates how these differences can be the foundation of a rich partnership and maintain the spark that keeps a relationship exciting.

One of the Significant Books!

Would you listen to The Energies of Love again? Why?

Yes. This goes onto the list of Significant Books that I have read/listened to. I will listen to this again, and this should be required reading for everybody before they enter their first relationship. If you have been through many already, it's not too late.. I just think much strife would be averted if people had this knowledge before they entet their first intimate relationship – I certainly would have (but would I have been similarly receptive to it at a younger age, with less life experience, I don't know).

What other book might you compare The Energies of Love to and why?

I don't know. There have been many other good books, but this was so well written that I can't really compare this to any other I would have read.

What about Melissa Hurst’s performance did you like?

Fits perfectly. I've noticed that when the reader is really good, I come to associate him/her as the author of the book. This is, of course, often not the case, but it does mean that the reader gives the book and its author a very real voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I would have, except it was very long, so I listened to it over couple of weeks. It also seemed that listening to it in segments was beneficial as I often reflected on what I had heard before moving on to the next part.

Any additional comments?

Listen to it, you won't regret it! :-)

If Only

If only I could have read and listened to this work in 1963, I could have been happy in my 1st marriage and saved it unto this day. I understand today why my current marriage has lasted almost 18 years and why I am happy with my beloved husband today.

Ultimate relationship guidance book!

There are millions of relationship books out there and I'm sure you've read one or two. You may have seen a therapist or coach to improve a relationship. There are some fundamental required key ingredients in order for any relationship to be meaningful, last forever and keep growing love. Understanding yourself as well as your partner in the energy level is immensely important for such relationships, yet we totally ignore that we're energy beings and we need to tackle relationship issues and challenges from the energy level as well as all other methods such as improving communication skills, understand love languages, use compassion not judgment, and all that.

This book helps to improve your family dynamics as well as at your work places.

Redundant, redundant, redundant

There is good information here, but it could have been written in half the space. I could barely finish this book because of the monotonous repetition of ideas already covered and obvious reading of titles and sub-titles....ad nauseam.
