Publisher's summary

With her trademark wit and easy charm, Barbara O’Connor spins a fantastic fable of friends, enemies, and superbly slimy bullfrogs. An amazing secret has tumbled off a freight train into Carter, Georgia, and Owen Jester is the only person who knows about it. If he can simply manage to evade his grandfather’s snappish housekeeper and keep his nosy neighbor, Viola, at bay, he just might be in for the summer of a lifetime.

Enjoyable kid's listen

Spending a lot of time listening to the Sunshine State Books (2012-13) of which this is one. Those folks who picked the 15 books did an outstanding job as I have yet to hear one that wasn't worth the effort. And listening to these kid's books provides a healthy alternative to the mystery/thrillers that take up most of my listening time. It's worth the time to find out what Owen Jester's fantastic secret is.

It may be a book for young adults.
It may be teaching a couple of important things that must be learned to be a " good person"
There may be a fantastic young man who is reading.
YES I loved the story, and the reader.
It is full of fun, and couldn't hurt some adults in this day and age to learn what empathy and goodness is all about!

Olivia farts a lot

Jozy is a scrub. Olivia says that it was the worst story she ever heard and she wants everyone to know that she likes Disney jr. Shows.
