Hard to put down

Adam and Hallie did a really thorough and thought-provoking job on explaining how to make the relationship between an executive and his right hand more powerful and more beneficial for both parties involved as well as the company that they run together. In addition to giving me loads and loads of actionable ideas that I can implement in my own business, it has also challenged the way I think about the relationship between the executive and the person that works directly with him. I would highly recommend this book for anyone running a large or a rapidly growing organization as well as anyone looking to be the go to person for an executive.

Great Examples without Fluff

This book goes into great detail about the specific real life relationships between Adam (Realtor/CEO) and his executive assistant, Hallie. Both take turns sharing a behind the scenes view of how one makes the other successful. The book is direct and to the point without pointless stories or common sense basics.

Stands the test of time

I just read this for a second time. It’s been five years since the first time all of the principles outlined within it are still very relevant. The tactics within it are super easy to implement. Every leader should be reading this book.

Enthusiastic and true advice for young professionals

A helpful book for the aspiring entrepreneur and young executive assistant. Adam’s enthusiasm is a great shot in the arm, and added boost to my drive to work!
There is something to be learned from everyone and I appreciated Adam and Hallie’s enthusiasm to step up and say here’s what works for us.
Success in one environment does not necessarily transfer to others. The book is a little premature in both of their careers and I imagine had they written it 5 or 10 years down the road, their expertise, seasoning, and broader experience would’ve made this a better resource for the audience. It misses the mark for those in larger organizations. This book is worth the read for younger or less-experienced professionals.
