For the first time, Ann Hiatt shares both the daily habits and long-game strategies she learned working side-by-side for decades with the giants of technology at Amazon and Google.

Through clear guidance and incredible stories, Bet on Yourself will teach you:

Inspirational, educational and encouraging

I first heard about Anna Hiatt on an NFX podcast episode "Ann Hiatt on Trillion Dollar Leadership" and immediately fell in love with her story. The part where she worked with Jeff Bezos, Erich Schmidt, and Marriissaa Mayer was out of my reach, but the content was still relatable. This podcast got me excited for her new book. I kept putting off finishing the book because I enjoyed the learning process so much that I did not want it to stop. As a young entrepreneur just out of college, I needed guidance and I got it with this book. Not only was it interesting to read and engaging, but I felt like I learned something new in every chapter. I even decided to use her tips and tasks at the end of the chapter as a structure for the different aspects of my project. This book has inspired me, encouraged me, and ensured that my moments of doubt and fear are not obstacles, but an essential part of this journey that I can grow from. It has helped me think about things I can do better and I can say without a doubt - thank you for helping me become a better entrepreneur!

Invigorating!

Wow. I'm lost for words. What a great way to start the new year off listening to this book. I thoroughly enjoyed Anne Hiat's incredible journey from working on her PHD to Amazon, to Google, and then pursuing entrepreneurship and giving full focus to what she desires to do and be. The audio was superb! her voice was on par and upbeat and kept me interested the entire time. Really great book for all with lots of sound business advice, leadership, admitting, laughing and growing from failures. I was engaged the entire 5+ hours. Excellent!

Dang

Listen to the example of someone who worked with some of the most recognizable names in tech. Learn from her experiences. Interesting inside info on how these top performers work and their expectations and how she rose to meet those. Warning: may increase desires for a more proactive life.

it's a journal with ideas

a lot of stories with morals/principles.
it sounds glamorous to be in the tech world or to have a startup. but what does it really mean? Ann Haitt gives the answers.
there seems to be a desire for the new for the sake of new. by that I mean: getting beyond your comfort zone and entering new areas.
I do not agree with this as a primary idea. but I agree if it is a consequence of a goal.
I disagree with some general ideas. however, I gained a lot of ideas to apply in my business.
