About this listen

Woods that hide thousands of ferocious beasts in their shadow. A place where adventures, fights, and dangerous secrets await. The desire to reunite his family and a dream so similar to his father's. A teen who hides his secrets, not wanting to become a valuable prize for those who are hungry for profit.

What is he willing to do to earn money for his family? Will he be able to risk their lives for their own sake? And will this be enough to cope with all that the Heavens have in store for him?

Narrorator reads this like a cool breeze over a bubbling brook on a hot humid day. The first 3 books I read. Couple times almost moved onto another litrpg but hung on due to some really smooth character development. So glad I did. Most authors put their best foot forward early, this waited till the 4th book!

Best of the series!!!

It amazes me how crappy she is to legard. She allowed him to be beaten and starve for most of his developmental years and then complain when he comes home wearing clothes that aren’t rags. Like he paves the way for her to lead a comfortable life then she complains that he isn’t doing enough for people he doesn’t owe anything to and all the while contributing nothing but the bare necessities to his younger sister WHO IS ALSO WORKING AT THE SAME CAPACITY AS A CHILD! I get that she lost her husband, but the kids also lost their father while she wallowed in her own misery her suffered more. What an absolute POS person

Amazing storytelling but the mother is an absolute garbage person
