Publisher's summary

The Isles have been more or less unified under Garric’s rule, but the Change that created the continent has removed the old Gods of the Isles from reality and released other Gods from other planes of existence.

Now the servants of the forbidden Gods of Palomir call forth The Worm, an ancient thing that threatens to devour all life in the newly formed kingdom and make way for the reign of dark Gods, newly awakened to ambitions of worship and dominion. Some are bad...and some are worse.

True to the framework of the fantasy

Verisimilitude thy name is Drake. I'm always caught up in his stories.
His life experience and knowledge always make for great narrative.

excellent

I missed ilnas pirate. he was my favorite character. i cried when he was killed. otherwise this whole series was wonderful. excellent narration I would wish more books with these characters and maybe a prequel of riser and how the children came about. also we need to know of mab and how her children came about and their father became broken. love the stories and how each person's experiences were woven together. Ilna would have approved

Good finale to a great series.

Started this series when it first came out. Was very interested to see how it ended. Very good listen.
