Thank you, Josie!

Loved this! There were many great additional ideas and variations of the jar at the end. I loved hearing about what had happened one year later, too.

Heartfelt story of gratitude and its benefits

Josie Robinson’s The Gratitude Jar is a lovely, non-denominational in tone, memoir that nurtures the opening of ones heart to thanks. A brave narrative, the driving theme of her learning to ask for, and receive help with personal struggles resonates.

Robinson shares her 30-day journey with a better understanding of daily thanks. And her journey becomes her family’s, as well—particularly the lessons learned with the help of her 4-year-old son, with whom she has a nightly practice of putting notes of gratitude into a jar.

Ultimately, she offers uplifting, heartfelt reminders of the power of gratitude; moreover, how it’s possible to find thanks for even the smallest things in our every day lives, and specific examples of how to nurture gratitude and share it with others.

Great Story, Narration a Little Monotone

Josie’s Story is relatable, touching and inspiring. I really enjoyed this book. The author’s narration is rather monotone but totally worth listening to despite that!

Finally motivated to be in Grace

In s society that expects instant results, I knew about Gratitude, but I too could not wrap myself around doing daily journal entries. I also had fear of being asked to say Grace at the table. This book allowed me to see Gratitude for what it is, being in Grace instead of a chore that what you do out of obligation. Grace is a state of mind that slowly day by day & minute by minute that Law of Attraction shifts our vibration from a low void of what is absent in our lives to a self reflection to the abundant Universe that was really there all along. I finally get it!
