Publisher's summary

Through years of experience in business, the military, and graduate school university teaching, Kirk W. McLaren developed a keen understanding of why many owners of small to medium-sized private companies become stuck in the pursuit of revenue growth and profitability. Even better, he came up with a solution he shares in this audiobook: A Growth CFO Void.

Growth CFOs work side by side with business owners to obliterate the obstacles to growth. It’s a team approach, especially valuable for owners who are smart enough to know they need great analytics and guidance across their financial flight plan, all while being self-aware enough to know they find poring over numbers tedious, confusing, or intimidating.

Growth CFOs overcome obstacles, including building people capacity, winning new customers, and proactively gaining access to capital.

An author with the mind of a CPA and the spirit of a trusted friend, Kirk provides an easy-to-follow guide to business owners determined to be top two percent CEOs to win personal financial freedom and fulfill their business objectives.

Exceptional Guidance Getting Past Being Stuck

This book wasn't what I expected. Instead of talking about back office requirements it's all about how CFO's work with CEO's to resolve the obstacles to growth.

This includes gaining clarity and developing managers.

Plus escaping the owner's trap to get time back as well as financial freedom.

MUST READ!!

The Growth CFO Void may initially seem like it’s tailored to people who run existing companies/businesses, but the in-depth analysis on business performance, operations, and financials creates a great guide for young entrepreneurs. Kirk does an exceptional job simplifying and explaining what CEOs, on all levels, must do to achieve their own definition of success. Highly recommend this book to existing and/or new entrepreneurs who seek valuable education!

Well organized and really picked up as it went along

I appreciated the latter chapters and thought the advice was clear. Even if one does not use Kirk’s company — naturally, Foresight CFO loves by the advice provided in this book — you should be able to apply what is provided as a general guide to getting a handle on your company’s situation and then moving it toward your exit aims.

No real value

This book is a 4 hours long sales pitch. It is entirely worthless and gives no advice on anything.
