Tonight, Osmond Box, the reclusive yet wildly successful writer/director known for his completely surprising Broadway plays, is debuting his seventh and most highly anticipated production of his career: The Guilty. Nothing is known about the story, the setting, the premise, or even the actors involved. The first people to discover the truth will be the lucky ones sitting in those seats opening night. Phones are collected; doors are locked. The rest of the world eagerly awaits the first reviews....

Two hours later, when the doors are finally allowed to open, half of the audience will be applauding wildly. The other half will be fleeing the theater in mortal terror. Has Osmond Box done it again? Or has he done something far, far worse?

Amazing performances and production

This is one of the best Audible Originals out there. The actors are amazing . Of course John Lithgow at his best. It was like listening to. Real Broadway play with great sound effects and of course the music. The twists and turns in the story are so good. What a fun listen and member benefit. Thank you Audible.

Good until…

This was a great story. Definitely didn’t see what was unfolding until it was happening. The end ruined it for me though. If I’m honest, the last 10 mins weren’t that great. Got a little corny. Don’t regret listening though

Great fun

I spent hours in my youth( I’m 83) listening to the radio. Rushing home to listen to The Lux Radio Theater. This was a fun flashback to great audio theater.

Too Much Meanness

I've never enjoyed the art of meanness- not in comedians, not by social media "friends", not by anyone. This Audible had me squirming, wishing the cruelty of the play would stop, just stop! The performances were quite good and the ending a surprise, although one essential piece of information was not disclosed until 92% of the story had finished.

The ending and the acting made up for a lot

For the longest time I was wondering where this was going. To be honest this is more absurd than I’m comfortable with, but the ending made up for the weird beginning.

Wonderful and Quirky

This was a great listen. I liked the ensemble cast. It reminded me of an old time radio play.

Amazing Production!

Well written and the voice acting was phenomenal. The icing on the cake was the very well done mixing.
