Publisher's summary

A brand new smoldering romance audiobook from New York Times best seller JS Cooper.

How do you know when you’ve found true love?

Janie Ryan has always dreamed of meeting her Prince Charming - the one guy that will sweep her off of her feet and carry her away into the sunset. All she wants is the fairytale love, and she’s willing to change everything in her life to find and be with the one. Even if that means doing the unthinkable.

He was a knight in shining armor according to himself.

Nate Lexington is bossy, charming, handsome, and quite possibly the most annoying man I’ve ever met in my life. He’s also my best friend. He treats me like his little sister, and if he could run my life, he would. Only I don’t let him. Much to his chagrin. Nate thinks I live my life with my head in the clouds, and all he does is groan when I tell him about my quest for true love.

He was the devil in disguise according to Nate.

Dylan Mason is the sexiest man I’ve ever met in my life. I met and fell for him in a weekend. He swept me off of my feet, and my heart became his in an instant. He was a charmer, a rogue, a devious manipulator. I didn't care. He was the one I’d been waiting my whole life to meet. He was Mr. Perfection himself.

Not for me

I got almost done with the story, but couldn't finish it. This story had so many things that I wasn't a fan of. Janie is about the most annoying leading lady I've ever read. She is so wishy washy and no back bone. Nate is a complete jerk who wrongs Janie in college and then says she is his best friend, but continues to disrespect her. Then you have Janie's other best friend Anabelle who doesn't even seem to thing much about Janie. I just couldn't finish. I see there is a second book and I just don't care what happens.

The narrators tried hard to pull of this material, but it's a losing battle.

is this written by a 5th grader?

the storyline is so far fetched and has no point. the main character have no common sense and the dialog. wow, what was even the plot of this book?
the narrator is awful, tried to do other voices for different characters, but made the main character sound so dumb. it was painful to listen to after a few chapters. misquoted slang and who says 'dude' every other sentence?

Not for me....

Winey desperation doesn't look good on anyone and doesn't make a story interesting at all. Janey acted like she was in high school not college. I don't like weak willed women as lead characters. I wasn't to fond of the narration either. I had to fast forward. It might be ok for YA.
