About this listen

Warning: This is a dark romance stand-alone that contains violence, strong language, and graphic sexual situations.

Revenge. Blood. Lies. Hate.

The good guy is the bad guy and the bad guy is the good guy.

Or is that what they want you to believe?

In a city where crime is at an all-time high and new mutilated bodies are showing up every day, who do you trust?

He's the silent neighbor who vanishes at night and reappears when the morning news is reporting on the latest victim.

How do you know this?

You watch him through the curtains as his silent stalker. Everything about him is twisted, but you can't get past his stare. It's hypnotizing and the hardest pull you've ever experienced...you know it's all wrong.

Then he walks through your front door covered in blood.

Who will you trust?

I enjoyed this, worth a credit.

I saw a very harsh review on this book before I read it and I'm glad I didn't let it influence me too much. I enjoyed this book and the characters in it. there's a but of sadness in the end, but I like that it's realistic yet still has a good ending. The peak of the book felt a tad anti-climactic because there was so little conversation and it was so fast. I really thought there were going to be some family issue brought up and the author could have developed Argo a little bit more than just making him a psychopath by allowing him to justify and discuss why he did what he did throughout the story. I also thought that some of Van's actions didn't totally match up with him. he would have been a great candidate for a Dominant, that felt a bit like a lost opportunity but that's purely my opinion. Overall, I really enjoyed listening to this and it was. good book. I wasn't wowed or on the edge of my seat, but it did keep my attention and I don't regret time spent listening. Give this one a chance and don't make snap judgements right away. Basil's character changes and evolves out of that little prim proper princess character if you give her a chance.

I made it 13:22 into this story

Don't let the dark and dangerous titles fool you. The collage age girl cannot even say "sex"....she had "interactions" and is embarrassed when her stomach growls. so disappointing.
