The gripping story of life on the inside and the outside of one of Britain's toughest prisons.
Donna Brunos worships her husband and is devastated when he is jailed for armed robbery. Georgio swears he's been set up and persuades Donna to help him escape. Implementing 'the jump' takes Donna into a twilight world she never believed existed - a world of brutal sex and casual violence. Finally, she is confronted by a series of shattering revelations that threaten not only everything she believes in but also, ultimately, her own life....

Would you consider the audio edition of The Jump to be better than the print version?
I love Annie's range on accents. Though, her scottish was a bit of a let down. Anyhoo, she is by far the best narrator Audible has. The only bit I didn't like fully about this book is the unsavoury part of the plot which I will not spoil for others. It made it difficult to get through some parts and I probably won't listen to this book again. I mean I finished it because I needed to know how it all turned out. BUT i normally re listen to Martina/Annie books a few times in case I missed something and for entertainment value. But because of the aforementioned unsavoury element of the plot, I can't re-listen to this one. I really had hoped that Donna would have done something better with the money... you know? How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Donna should have used the money as a sanctuary or other sort of foundation for the victims. What does Annie Aldington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
EmotionAnnie Aldington is the BEST
