About this listen

Overflowing with action and humor, The Kill Circle is the next must-hear binge-worthy thriller in the critically acclaimed Cordell Logan mystery series.

When one retired CIA analyst plunges off a cliff in his vintage Porsche, it’s an unfortunate accident. When a second and then a third turn up dead under unusual circumstances, the CIA’s suspicions are confirmed: these men were murdered. All three analysts were once assigned to the same top-secret project: an internal review of the CIA’s own involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. With a Congressional mandate set to go into effect that will require the CIA to release long-secret files, it seems someone will stop at nothing to prevent the public from discovering what really happened that tragic day in Dallas, 1963.

Cordell Logan—veteran pilot, aspiring Buddhist, and former government assassin—has no interest in getting involved in what is swiftly becoming a disturbing conspiracy, even to help out a former colleague. That is, until he meets Layne Sterling, the brilliant CIA agent assigned to the case. Logan and Layne are instantly drawn to one another, but manage to put the case first as they find themselves caught up in a high stakes, high altitude game of cat-and-mouse—one that could destroy them both.

The Plot and Narration Are Remain Superb

This series has yet to disappoint. The character development continues while drawing the listener into the storyline.

Very good story and plot

Overall this was a good listen. The protagonist was witty and hilarious at times. The plot was good, but had a twist ending that was hard to see coming. The narrator, Ray Porter, was absolutely outstanding as usual. I liked this book enough that I will purchase more in the series.

Love the series, this may be the best Logan book!

I fell in love with the mix of real world feel, relatable consequences and compelling sarcasm. Not to mention the spot on narration by Ray Porter. Not sure if I fall more in move with Logan or Porter during each novel. Please bring the next one on soon! Audible 20 Review Sweepstakes Entry

Definitely kept my attention!

Considering the series, David successfully avoided monotony while keeping the reader reminded of Cordell Logan's past experiences and adventures. the story progressed very well although I found myself wishing he would have stayed on track a little bit better when he digressed and lingered a bit long with some of the subplots. overall I'm excited and ready to hear the next adventure with his new "partner" in the Private I business!

Gripping and timely

I loved this newest Cordell Logan tale, which finds him chasing clues through Colorado’s backcountry and beyond. The plot is a page-turner, and Cordell’s character deepens with the introduction of a new woman in his life. Elements of the JFK assassination add a timely element with the release of new documents from the Warren Commission. The series is funny, taut, and original, and I think this 6th in the series is the best yet!
