About this listen

A family of Scottish warriors. A stranger in a new land...

From the best-selling authors William W. Johnstone and J. A. Johnstone, the blazing saga of Duff MacCallister, heir to a legacy of courage.

Duff MacCallister has just returned from a trip back to his native Scotland - more determined than ever to build a new future in Chugwater Valley, Wyoming. But Duff will do it his way, buying up a herd of rare Scottish black angus from the Kansas City market. He can’t know that his dream is threatened by a man driven by one desire: to take other people’s money and other people’s lives.

Crack Kingsley learned to kill and rape in the bloody border wars of Kansas. Now, he has collided with a banker who’s deep in debt and smack in the middle of the MacCallister purchase. Suddenly, Kingsley has the perfect plan to steal one man’s life’s savings and his dream...as long as he’s willing to fight a MacCallister to the death....

Thie Killing

The Books on Duff has become one of my favorite series. Duff is buying a herd of Black Angus cattle. A guy has a plan to steal the money he has to pay for them. There is a lot of action in this book. Duff and Megan gets a little closer. Megan comes to the rescue. If not for her he might not have gotten his herd. I highly recommend this series. There is several narrators in this book.
