About this listen

We all have dirty secrets. Some are just more fun to hide than others.

Ares Wilder is a so-called bad boy. A ladies' man. The teammate most likely to fight both on and off the ice. Now, this devastatingly dark and handsome hockey player with a sinful smile and a filthy mouth is my twin sister's brother-in-law, landing him firmly in the forbidden category.

Only he doesn't see it that way.

Resisting him should be no big deal, right? At least that's what I thought…

Until one night, he managed to look past the illusion I'd spent a lifetime perfecting and see the broken girl behind the pink satin pointe shoes.

We were the perfect storm I never wanted to escape.

With secrets piling up and my world crashing down, will Ares be one more thing I destroy?

From USA Today and Amazon bestselling author Bella Matthews comes a hot new hockey romance between a broken ballerina and the forbidden bad boy who saves her.

The best of the series 💕💕

Ares is my favorite underrated MC. His love for Grace makes me melt and his filty mouth does all kinds of things to my imagination. Great job Bella!!!

Sweet and Spicy

Grace and Ares were a great couple! Their opposites attract was as smooth as peanut butter and jelly! They just fit. Gracie wasn’t as good as everyone expected and Ares wasn’t the bad boy/play boy everyone thought. They were more alike and just had a natural chemistry that I loved! The narration was great!

Loved Ares!

I loved the 1st 2 books in this series and I absolutely love Ares in this book but Grace was so whiny! Maybe it was the actual narration but I really wanted to choose violence when it came to her and her extreme people pleasing ways. She was too dramatic about everything. For the love of Diet Coke, could she have been more pitiful? I really would love a book where the female lead wasn’t so whiny and needy. I am a big fan of the man falling hard and chasing but that doesn’t mean the woman has to be somewhat broken. Again, I love how Ares loves!
