About this listen

It's 2255 and times are good for the human race. We have peace and prosperity under the reign of the Order.

This is the story of the end of that golden age. It's the story of how Katreen Roper's discovery pushed her brilliant son across the threshold of good and evil, drove her mate to the edge of sanity, and stripped a just man of his family, nation, and identity.

And, of course, it's the story of the Chameleon.

One hundred years of peace, the Pax Ordina, ended not from war or plague, but from the inevitable progress of the human mind.

A Prophetic Glimpse of the Future of AI

A future world where the technology we currently use is imbedded in our brains and advances in AI make it possible to communicate and manipulate reality. This book does not sacrifice character development and relationships but integrates it into a challenging yet relatable technology sphere. Gotta love the 15 year old genius bent on creating anarchy wherever he goes. Nice arcs for everyone. Well done Bob Boiko! Luke Welland’s narration is perfect. His character voices make the distinctions clear. He reads the tech talk in a way that makes it understandable even to a layperson such as myself. Well done Luke!
