The Limpet Syndrome (book one)

John’s dead...but that’s just the beginning.

Hell has a problem. Two, actually. The souls of Sandy Logan and Ian Noble are missing. This, as it happens, is a big deal. Brimstone, the demon responsible for the Soul Catcher, believes the most likely outcome is the end of the Universe.

It’s obviously only a guess: It’s never happened before.

Soul Catchers (book two)

No one can live forever.

John’s gone, and even he doesn’t truly know where. Demons, pigeons, gods, and a band of ex-dictators in plastic bodies are all eager to find him. Will they get to him before he can enact his revenge?

Dead Ends (book three)

Is there a happy ever afterlife?

War is coming! Against gods, between species, and against the afterlife itself. Heroes will emerge from unlikely places, and John will yet again be forced to intervene in the future of mankind.

Existential Crisis (companion book)

A face-off between science and religion. Demon Top Trumps. A 14-billion-year timeline and the truth about pigeons. The definitive guide to the afterlife and a must listen for fans of the trilogy. Only available in this box set and to Limpet Club members.

Incredibly fun series

I was scrolling through Facebook when a post from Tony Moyle showed up on my feed. I always check out authors that I run across and this series looked intriguing. Humorous books that include stories about the afterlife are definitely my genre.
To be honest, I would have paid for each book separately. The story line is fun, humorous, action packed and, at times, even beautiful. The story and narration had a little bit of a Time Bandits feel to it. I haven't watched that movie since I was a child, almost 40 years ago. That slight correlation made me love the story even more.
Aubrey Parsons narrated the books perfectly. This is a series that I'll listen to more than once.

Time well spent!!

I adored this whole production! This was such a fun and funny story, as well as being philosophically poignant. Great writing, and wonderful narration/character voices.

done it again!

My second foray into Moyle's storytelling and Parsons' narration, and looking for more! This was lovely, thought-provoking, heartbreaking, and funny! The narration was superlative!

Forced myself to finish #1

this was so confusing for so long it was practically unreadable for me. I forced myself to listen to the first book but hardly paid attention by the last third. Could have been great if it was not so mixed up. if you're on the fence about finishing, just stop and listen to something else. not worth the time or credit imo

Not for me

I kept listening to the first one because the story was so weird, and I just couldn't tell if I liked it. I finally just looked up the plot and found out what happened. Glad I didn't give it more time. Not my best Audible Recommended.
