About this listen

Jane Boyle has long since known that her mother-in-law is evil, but she’d never imagined Lynne Doran was actually the embodiment of a powerful, ancient, body-snatching demon. Now that Jane has uncovered 666 Park Avenue’s dark truth, she must race against the clock to find a way to destroy Lynne before she finds her next unwilling host. As Jane attempts to tap into powers stronger than her enemy’s, her estranged husband, Malcolm, arrives in time to join the fight.… But can she possibly learn to trust him again - before it’s too late?

Such a disappointment!!!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better story!

Would you ever listen to anything by Gabriella Pierce again?

Maybe. She dropped the ball on this one.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Ilyana Kadushin?

HATED the accents. OMG- so bad!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Lost Soul?

The accents were so bad and so unnecessary. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Any additional comments?

The first two books were great. This one was a complete BORE. No creativity at all and such anticlimactic endings for major characters. I'm glad the torture is over.

I have never hated a lead character so much

What would have made The Lost Soul better?

It would have been a better story if:
1. Jane stopped name dropping expensive shoes and clothes etc
2. Jane had an ounce of compassion for anyone else. the most selfish irritating character - ever,

What could Gabriella Pierce have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Make Jane more compassionate to her friends and let sulky and egocentric.

What about Ilyana Kadushin’s performance did you like?

she was great!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The supernatural elements were great! The story was good, the lead character was so annoying!!
