Attorney Daniel Mendoza returns in The Mendoza Memo with his trusty private investigator, Pamela Williams.

Legal thriller above and beyond my expectations. This book shows what attorneys have to go through to prepare a case for trial and includes some of their personal lives also. Although I truly didn’t understand all of it it was still a very good book. The death of 7 innocent people in clinical trials by a nurse who really didn’t have the knowledge that she should have I’m surprised nobody went after her also.
I really enjoyed the story.

A legal thriller which is part of a series, but functions well as a stand alone. Rich in legal and situational detail, the plot moves quickly. I would have appreciated more differentiation in character voices by the narrator, but overall it is well performed.

I am completely hooked on legal mysteries, and this author is on my short go to list. This has ever element you want and expect. Compelling, intense, intrigue, drama,and suspense with a storyline that keeps you wanting more until the end, not to mention the plethora of suspects. This was another exceptional story that kept me engaged and hanging on every word. Well done, again, author! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. Audio production quality was excellent.

Did a mega-corporation accused of withholding over 200 million dollars in royalties from a miracle drug attempt to “rig” the resulting lawsuit in their favor? When people associated with the case start dying, one has to wonder, and it falls to Daniel Mendoza and his ace team to get to the truth! Tense, engrossing. and filled with legal drama so perfectly explained that THIS novice was able to become completely immersed, “The Mendoza Memo” is a winner! I was captivated by the plot, the characters, and the feel of this story, throughly enjoying every last beautifully narrated second! The plot has a distinctly real feel, a scary real feel! I’m not giving any details, so as not to play spoiler, but listen and see if you agree that … this … could … really … happen! I know it has given me some serious food for thought! The characters, some familiar from the previous books, some new for this story, are all beautifully defined and developed, with more than enough character information given that even new listeners will feel as if they’ve know them forever! Again, no spoilers, but I will tell you that among this cast of characters there’s no lack of possible suspects, and with THIS plot, the surprises and twists kept me guessing right up to the stunning, tension filled, edge of my seat, yet oh so satisfying reveal! Truly fantastic, clear, well paced easy on the ear narration really added to my enjoyment of this fantastic story! I loved everything about this listen! Five perfect stars!
