Cassandra 22007 continues to hold the world in its grip. After the destruction of large parts of Los Angeles, the remaining inhabitants fight for their survival.
Among them are Lee Rifkin, who must not miss the most important rocket launch of his career, and Branson, who is confronted with a truth that will change his life forever.
Meanwhile, in distant Siberia, Jenna Haynes finds herself deep in the Ulan-Ude containment zone, where the contamination provides an ominous glimpse of what might be the fate of Los Angeles. The woman outsmarts, overpowers, and kicks everyone’s ass. The men are all stupid bumbling morons to a cringe level. Kind of like fossil but worse. It doesn’t work in the movies nor does it work in the books. 1 and two could have been 1 book. Feels like a waste.
