Best series I’ve ever listened to!

This book series would be so wonderful made into a TV series like Downton Abbey! The narrator Sam Dewhurst Phillips is amazing! His voice and accent are what drew me to the first book and the story line keeps me coming back. I never want this series to end. I highly recommend listening.

fantastic

I hope miss Menuhin never stops writing this series. Love the narrator too and I think it was an excellent choice to have him narrate the whole series. I hope he never stops doing this series too

As good as expected

The mystery was good, the Lennox & Swift pairing gets better & better, and our hero has his day. The only monkey wrench for me: Canon in B? Another mystery!

Great fun and excellent narration!

Though the above description may sound strange for a murder mystery, it is true. There are some sad moments (murder, as well as other crimes), but Ms. Menuhin manages to balance the humor with the difficult issues without being flippant. Sam Dewhurst-Phillips is the perfect narrator for these books. His ability to portray the voice of Heathcliff Lennox while providing seemingly endless distinctive voices for the other characters is astounding. Enjoy!

Hooray for Heathcliff!

Book 7 doesn't fail to delivery another amusing tale of mayhem and murder! One of the most lovable bumbling amatuer detectives ever invented.

Another really entertaining listen…

I have enjoyed every book in the Heathcliff Lennox series and this one was no different. While the author has developed a very entertaining set of characters with great detail from the era, it is the narrator who really makes these stories shine! His range of voices and style are a perfect match for the books. I would highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys a good, clean mystery with a bit of fun in the mix.

Love this series!

This is exactly the kind of cozy mystery series I have been looking for. I love Heathcliff Lenox and Swift. They are a great team. I love that there is some character development for both characters, which makes the story more rich and interesting. The mysteries themselves aren't too complicated, but also have good twists. Perfect listening. The performance is also wonderful.
