Solid, Clever and Grand!

And not a formula in sight!

Snuggle down into these involving stories and go to Persia and many other exotic locations. When Dame Agatha went on holiday, she didn't fool around.

Highly recommend!

The last one is absolutely spectacular. It's amazing to me to still have so much AC to discover.

Wonderful stories; excellently presented

Those who want their Christie in smaller bites will not be disappointed with these stories — so skillfully characterized by Hugh Fraser. A multi varied treat!

Very enjoyable

I would've given 5 stars for the narration, but Hugh Fraser can't do a female voice to save his life. lol Other than that, he's very good. The stories themselves, I gave only 4 stars because, while they were all enjoyable (some more than others), many of them (probably none of them in fact) showed any clues to allow the reader to figure things out. While I love Agatha Christie, I do see that she hides critical information so only her detectives etc can solve things. I have a feeling that was a product of her time though.

Narration

Wonderful narration. Hugh Frazier’s voice is smooth, and an easy listen. He also captures the voice of Piroit from TV perfectly ! Nice compilation of Agatha’s short mysteries written over a span of many years.

Hugh Fraser is an amazing story teller!

Mr. Fraser brings stories to life... especially those of Mrs. Christe. This book was a favorite because the stories could each be enjoyed on my short commute!
