Refresher

If this were a textbook back when I was in college, I would have enjoyed reading class material much more. This is step-by-step very thorough and clear; the narrator is pleasant and easy to listen to. Whether you’ve been in the field for a while or you’ve been focusing your time on other priorities, this is a great refresher to reinvigorate that marketing fire.

Older than shown

The book’s details say the book was published in 2020. Not bad, I can deal with that. But I found it strange that there was not one mention of using a smartphone during marketing and then the end credits made it all make sense. This book was published in 2010, well before the smartphone and social media became what it is today.

There is still a lot of useful information in the book but I feel it’s misrepresented by saying it’s 4 years old (I’m writing this in 2024) and in fact, it’s 14 years old.

Needs to be edited for audio book.

There is more to publishing an Audio book than just having someone read it. Not written for beginners or experts. To understand this book you should have some knowledge of marketing.

Non profit

The narrators voice was not enjoyable to me and the overall content was lacking substance.
