Gripping!

It kept me up long after my sleep time and had me reach for my earphones whenever I woke up, be that close to getting up time or in the middle of the night. Can't wait to get more of this!

You won't be able to stop listening

Greg Hurwitz is a marvellous author with exceptional talent to paint vivid images if action scenes with words. Scott Brick... Makes it all come alive with his narration.

The build on from the first book in the series, Orphan X is well worth the read in Nowhere Man, and leaves you wanting to down load Hellbent thereafter.

Good book, but could have been better

Unlike my experience of Orphan X, book 1 of this series, I struggled with Nowhere Man because of the sheer repetitiveness of the cycle Ethan Smoakes got himself into. Capture, escape, do something bad, recapture, and repeat ad nauseum. I know that this plotline was included to emphasise the hero's perseverance and will power in the face of incredible odds, but I found it more annoying than anything else.

The appearance of a key character at a later point in the book - after the cycle broken - introduced a very welcome breath of fresh air into what had devolved into a dull and repetitive series of events. Suddenly, what was futile has a chance at meaning once more, meaning which largely extends into book 3 of the series, which I will be listening to soon.

Scott Brick's narration was excellent, and I can't fault his performance at all. I look forward to listening to more of his audiobooks, Gregg Hurwitz-authored and otherwise.

So very good!

Breathtaking suspense and the full range of emotions- relayed so brilliantly by Scott Brick. The story is so compelling and well-acted you can see it, not only hear it. Well worth your time.

Another Good Installment To The Series

Following his most recent job of removing a lowlife human trafficker from the world, he realises that there is one more girl out there in the process of being shipped to a buyer. He knows he has to help her, but before he gets too far, he himself is kidnapped by a sociopath, hell bent on staying young and robbing as many people as he can. He identifies Evan through an online transaction and captures him for the purpose of forcing Evan to transfer a large amount of money. No one, except maybe Evan, realises the implications that this one action will bring about.

This is a nail-biting, action-packed thriller that keeps the plot twists coming right up to the last moments. I admit that I started to wonder whether Evan would actually make it out of captivity alive, with the odds so stacked against him, but I should never have underestimated his ingenuity.

Scott Brick was outstanding with the delivery of the story

5 star story and narrator!

The only other author;s who have received 5 stars from me are Tom Clancy and Mark Greaney.

Gregg Hurwitz keeps you on the edge of your seat with this fast moving book. I was worried Evan was not going to get out .... but I should have just trusted him. Here is a HUGE set up for the next book and I can't wait!

Scott Brick is exceptional! What a pleasure to listen to him!

Well done all round ..... do not miss this series.

A good story elaborated endlessly..

Could have been great, but an endless focus on exitement that was not exiting ruined the whole book..
