Publisher's summary

Every new American president has a plan to bring about peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and every one fails. Every "peace process" has failed in its primary objective: to establish a stable and lasting accord between the two parties, such that they can live together side-by-side in friendship rather than enmity. But why? And what can be done instead?

The Palestinian Delusion is unique in situating the Israeli/Palestinian conflict within the context of the global jihad that has found renewed impetus in the latter portion of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. Briskly recounting the tumultuous history of the "peace process", Robert Spencer demonstrates that the determination of diplomats, policymakers, and negotiators to ignore this aspect of the conflict has led the Israelis, the Palestinians, and the world down numerous blind alleys. This has often only exacerbated, rather than healed, this conflict.

The Palestinian Delusion offers a general overview of the Zionist settlement of Palestine, the establishment of the State of Israel, and the Arab Muslim reaction to these events. It explores the dramatic and little-known history of the various peace efforts-showing how and why they invariably broke down or failed to be implemented fully.

A Comprehensive Analysis of alleged Palestinian Contentions and Claims.

Fantastic and well researched book. A clear exposure of fallacies in pro Palestinian arguments. I would love to see a counter argument to this book. However the events of October 7, 2023 have merely reinforced and reconfirmed the issues presented in this book. Excellent book and highly recommended.

Biased, but informative

Interesting book that tells a very different story than the official narrative in Europe

Excellent sobering analysis

It is a great book to get the essence of this current conflict in focus in ones mind.
if you "stand with" either side, it's best to acknowledge the facts. You can react to those facts in different ways but the facts are stubburn things.
Great book, it should be required reading before people comment on X or news sites..

A Learned Interest

Good history of the turmoil in this area of the world. Honestly truthful when it concludes that there is no solution to the conflict between religions and their followers. You can believe in a God but religion is man made and control by man.

Every American should read this

I wish more people would have gave this a listen
Maybe more people could have seen the attacks on the Jews on 10/2023 coming.

A very succinct review of the history of Israel

This information is critical to understanding "peace" negotiations in the Middle East. This is well presented here and very interesting.

Eye Opening

This book was written in 2019 but is eerily true still in 2023 in light of Oct 7. It should be a must read in high schools and colleges.

Great book. Very informative

This is a great read. Cuts through the nonsense propaganda and tells it like it really is. Jihad is the real problem.

Yet another persecution of the Jews, this time in the only land they can call home.

Tells the history of Islamist antisemitism from the time of Mohammed to the present day. An excellent factual account. I recommend it to all who are unfamiliar with the factual history of the middle east as opposed to the inventions of the enemies of the Jewish people, who impute their own actions to the Jews. Even more relevant and real today than when it was researched and written.

Eye Opening

I had no idea our understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was so biased! Before the October 2023 attack, I honestly thought most Americans were solidly pro-Israel. Yet I was shocked to see students protesting in favor of Hamas and their supporters after the atrocities.

Now I understand better how this could come about. We’ve been handed a flawed history, jihadist propaganda, and a religious world-view problematic (and death affirming) to its core.
