About this listen

Develop people skills, communicate effectively, amplify your introvert power, and thrive in this extrovert world (without sacrificing your inner quiet).

If you've ever done any kind of business, you know that, to be successful, you have to know how to reach out. You have to know how to play to the crowd, and you have to read people.

As you probably already know, introverts are not necessarily shy people. People are shy because they have developed some sort of negative association between public contact or face-to-face interaction with people, with some trauma. It's not that they're incapable of social interaction. They can be the most social people in the world. It's the energy drain that's holding them back.

This audiobook is dedicated to introverts, who think they have to turn their back on being an introvert and becoming something they are not. It will help them with basic people skills, even if they are very busy.

Even if you are busy and time is a luxury to you, you can pick up these basic people skills and continue to polish them regardless where you are. There's always an opportunity to connect with people on a one-to-one basis and build up your skills.

I enjoyed the author's explanation of the struggles that Introvert's face and how to overcome them. I enjoy narrator Ken Harrington's pacing and pleasant authoritative voice. The book fully covers the psychology behind introversion and social biases in a meaningful layman's way so as not to confuse the listener when explaining the concepts. It was definitely valuable life lessons that Introvert's require for being successful in the real world. I put my stamp of approval on this book as a natural and highly successful introvert myself that the Tactics herein do work to propel your career and success in life. This is a must read for any Introvert's toolbox along with 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and How to Win Friends and Influence Others. Every Introvert should also read Art of War and 48 Laws of Power to better understand how some of the competitive extroverts around them think.
I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review. I recommend any Introvert seeking to relate better socially in the world to listen to this audiobook to improve their game.
