This is excellent. I'm glad Robert Greene put this unabridged book out. Loved the many examples given. A must read for anyone truly interested in taking back control of their lives and understanding why people act and do what they do. ... A Masterpiece

i got bored with it sometimes & had to rewind. its a good book overall. i definately know im not the type of person interested in a great power now. i also better understand what well known powerful people had to do to get to where they are. it also verified what i already knew about anyone in power; they all did something bad or wrong to another to get to where they are. i like the way the book helped me see tactics people use for power.

not bad

Would you listen to 48 Laws of Power again? Why?

I have listened to it 2 times already. The historical examples of Napoleon (numerous) and other leaders are really great. You also feel a little dirty as some of the examples include dropping others in the grease.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the flow a great deal and I thought I could see a grin when the book reader would leave you hanging to fill in the blanks sometimes.

Have you listened to any of Richard Poe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think so if he did Greene's other books.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot, when you set someone else to take the blame. I think this Greene book actually had a section titled, "How to start a cult in 5 easy steps"!! ID a common enemy, if there is no enemy create one... Love it.

Any additional comments?

Very entertaining.

Get all of Greene's books, now I am powerful.

A very informative book. I believe it is best used to inspire not as a directive. When in need of inspiration, I will look to the information in this book.

I loved the historical accounts of how many people achieved power in their lives.

I did not give this a complete five star review, however, because some places send more like an actual how to course on deceit

Awesome analogies
