About this listen

Less freedom. More regulation. Higher costs. Make no mistake: those are the surefire consequences of the modern global warming campaign waged by political and cultural elites, who have long ago abandoned fact-based science for dramatic fearmongering in order to push increased central planning.

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change gives a voice - backed by statistics, real-life stories, and incontrovertible evidence - to the millions of "deplorable" Americans skeptical about the multibillion dollar "climate change" complex, whose claims have time and time again been proven wrong.

The other side of the story ...

After being "all in"' for years as a global warm warming and then a climate change believer, this is one eye opening read! I had just finished reading a dire account of what to expect as global climate change progresses It was pretty horrific and yet when I mentioned it to some people they seemed skeptical. This confounded me! So I thought it would be wise to hear what a climate denier had to say. The words shock and surprise best describe my overall sentiment as I listened to this book. My takeaway is that the concept of climate change may have started out as a science, but may now be more of a religion. Too many authorities on climate have withdrawn from the climate change side of the argument for lack of scientific evidence. This is a science that is evolving and one that I plan to watch closely.

An excellent rebuttal.

There is no doubt of the author's bias. He does not hide his very specific political point of view. The reason I both rate and recommend the book highly is because any question one might have regarding the source of his claims, he presents to you. Personally, I read abstracts, or full paper, when it comes to scientific publications. The benefit of a book like this is that it points you toward some of the voice, paper, and op-eds by qualified people who are skeptical of the green movement, particularly about the solutions offered by most people the author dubs 'alarmist' or 'warmist'. Along with the book, I cannot help by suggest Bjorn Lomborg works as well; he too focuses on the problems and cost presented by the solutions being offered, Cost benefit analysis may seem cold, but in truth what lies in the balance is the poverty and starvation of people living at the edge of existence today.

he presented evidence and had some good points

I believe that climate change is happening, but I wanted to gather more information so that I can make more informed decisions. this author presents some valid arguments about the money of politics and the politics of climate change. I now have a basis for research so I can make my own mind up on the subject.

narrator was engaging.

it was annoying though how the author kept quoting himself and other people's quotes about himself in the media.

Surprisingly good and compelling

This book reminds me of the need for another "questioning the general agreement" book, namely something to counter the unscientific nonsense from the anti-GMO/pro-organic lobby. Hmm, probably they are the same people who are pushing the climate change agenda, now I come to think of it.

Also, what stood out most to me was that Al Gore apparently drives a Lexus! How anti-American can you get, and for a ex-Vice President, too! Decisions like that lead me to believe people are definitely not making choices to benefit others.

Ok, to the main content of this book... I really was not expecting it to so well researched and presented. I certainly question the green-scientists and their true motivations. Saying that it's to fund their careers and promote their social agendas seems all too likely (see the anti-GMO group, above). The UN IPCC and their one-sided findings come in for highly critical assessment; if someone joins a group that is designed to find climate-change evidence, we can only assume that everything about the organization will motivate them to do just that.

Morano takes a very structured and data-driven approach to each argument and refuting it. He gets a bit repetitive and maybe makes the exact same point two or three times but overall he gets there and is pretty clear.

I do remember the global cooling scare... and the over-population scare... (though he doesn't mention it) the 'we will all be unemployed because everything will be run by computers' scare... hmm.

He highlights the selective data representations by the climate-change fans and successfully identifies significant issues with their findings, though I can't be sure how much data-selection he is also doing.

I would highly recommend that others read this book and then... go out and try to (somehow) find additional unbiased findings and make up your own mind about what's really going on.

eyes wide open!

great read and critical to understanding the real threat to humanity: centralized world government using false climate scare to steal the wealth of the industrialized world and redistribute it so that no one has much of anything.
also, revealing as to how even the scientific community can be coopted for political agendas.

this book changed my mind

I am still anti-pollution but I now realize that there is a greater agenda to the climate change crowd. there is a goal to concentrate power two essential authoritarian group of people to dictate how people are to live. the science sure looks manipulated and falsified when it comes to global warming and climate change. it opened my eyes to the fact that there is an elite group of central planners who are manipulating The public's mind.

Excellent summary of anthropogenic climate hoax

Anyone who reads this book with an open mind will readily conclude that scientific concensus on anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is a fantasy. The AGW science is far from settled. btw......I read Mann's book before this, so I am aware of his position favoring CO2 induced AGW. This book, however, puts the debate in perspective. President Trump made the right decision withdrawing from the AGW accord.

This book will change everything, very informative and makes sense. Every teacher should have to read and teach this . I did bump up the speed though, the original performance is a little slow.
