About this listen

Back by popular demand, the best-selling Politically Incorrect Guides provide an unvarnished, unapologetic overview of controversial topics every American should understand.

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Christianity offers answers to the secular world's criticism of Christianity's history, traditions, and beliefs.

You think you know about Christianity, but did you know....

  • God likes "organized religion"; it's clear from both the New and Old Testaments
  • Christians have always believed that men and women are equal
  • The correct pronoun for angels is "he"
  • Science was stillborn everywhere outside the Christian West
  • Christianity, which first taught the world to value victims, is now the victim of a victimhood culture
  • Many "miracles" are actually historical facts
  • Famous athiests haven't been disinterested seekers of truth, but individuals with "issues" of their own
  • Planned Parenthood kills more people every six days than the Spanish Inquisition killed in 350 years

This is a very thorough explanation of some of the things that make people question the validity of the Christian faith. It would be a great read for anyone skeptical, any non believer that would like to know a little more, or the apologist that would like a fresh perspective on some of the current cultural issues that society has with Christians.

Excellent for the nonbeliever who is curious about Christianity

I very much enjoyed listening to the book, the narrator can be monotoned at times but speed up to 1.15 and its fine. It covers a wide range of doctrines from several denominations, so be prepared to hear things you won't completely agree with, but nothing blasphemous. It has a lot of good nuggets of information if you are new to the faith and will absolutely help you grow, just be sure to speak with your pastor about what doctrines your church adhere to and why to avoid making errors in your understanding of what you learn. God bless

Good intro to apologetics

The main issue I had with this book was in injects Roman Catholic dogma as Christianity. There are many groups of Christians who would strongly disagree with parts of this book. The main part the comes to mind is the chapter concerning angels. This book should have done one of the following. Either state that this book is from a Roman catholic point of view or touch on the other point of view. This is only fair to both other believes and non believes.

Overall good but...

This was a good hear, the author explained specific views in society and how they differ from Christianity. The examples were something that I wouldn’t have thought of. I also learned different perspectives. Very interesting book!

Interesting examples and explanations

Few books get me excited, this was one of them. Rarely have I learned new insights about the faith. Excellent! Deep, entertaining, irreverent, thoroughly enjoyable.

Must Read

I'm sorry to say this book, use is tired argument and disproved claims. That have been laid to rest a long time ago.

tired arguments.

I couldn’t finish the book. Narration was lacking in inflection. I perceive there are a lot of chapter headings and subheadings and epitaphs in this book, and it was very hard to tell when we were listening to that or the text of a given chapter. Confusing.

Might Be Better With a Physical Cooy

The narrator sounded very robotic. I couldn’t get past that.the actual book may be great, but I couldn’t concentrate on the ideas he was trying to explain.

I couldn’t complete

I’ve read a number of titles in the series and I think this one presents a number of good points and contains a wide array of worthwhile facts you won’t readily hear elsewhere, but it spends a lot of time going down rabbit holes of analysis that draw out the length unnecessarily and occasionally start to border on fringe territory. I’m general a good read, don’t get me wrong, but one that could have been shortened without losing much.

Worthy addition to the series
