Fast pacing and intelligent.

This series is so different, yet very exciting. You'll love the family, the individual powers and romances.
Take a chance you'll enjoy it.

Interesting and unusual

This is the second book I have read in the Building the Circle series. There are many times with humor, issues that we all might face, and certainly paranormal.

I have enjoyed both books. The first book I read and the second I listened in Audible. Both worked for me. I did have a difficult time sometimes following the story or maybe more of the concepts? Also there is a main storyline with the H/h; however it really does bring in multiple info on the individual family members.

If you are bothered by multiple individual stories this might not be for you. Also I don’t see the individual books as stand alone. Just my opinion.

I really have enjoyed these two books so on to #3!!

Meh

First, the narrator does a great job with the different characters. Second, the author has great banter with the characters and I laughed quite often. However, the whole supernatural thing is so vague in the first book. Takes fooooooooreveerrrrrrrr to semi develop. Maybe it's just me but the fact that no one really talks to each other but yet they all have a "thing"? That they dint know what TF to call it or what it is, what/where it comes from. Ugh, if this is in modern day/age, someone would've researched and scowered the internet to see what TAF they are and what their abilities are. And I'm sorry, Will is secretly married for 7 years and no one know???? WTF, she's just hidden away for 7 years? No one is mad? Nope, sorry but this story development is shit. It's super obnoxious that no one knows wtf they are but their parents who fail to explain to their kids about their "abilities"?? C'mon with all the supernatural stories these days and what actual people believe in, this is just.....crap. IDK what else to say. Building the circle that only some know what it is, is just so poorly explained and under developed. I liked the the romance story line between the characters in the first book. there started a story in this one but turned into a messy plot of frustration. I have about 2 hours left of this audio and I just can't anymore. I wanted to like this series but it's so poorly written on the supernatural side of it.
