About this listen

I'm just going to say it. Peace is the worst superpower....

Luke Trellis is Lord Peace, also known as Puking Peace. And no, he doesn't love the nickname any more than he loves the power. His siblings have psychic powers that let them travel through time, control the elements, and make billions of dollars.

Luke's just Peace. Boring, non-sexy Peace.

When a friend goes missing, Luke will make his way into the shifter community to rescue her.

And to the shifters, Peace is anything but boring. Shifter bonds of power, family, and love are like nothing Luke's ever seen.

Ransom is the first book in the complete Peacekeeper’s Harmony series of psychic shifter romance novels.

It's Great!

I loved the ebooks and now I love the audiobooks. Can't wait to get the third book! There's a huge cast of characters in these books, but the voices are different enough that I was able to keep them straight. I did read (and listen to) the first series, so I knew who everyone was. All things Trellis make me happy.

So dam good

Wow what a excellent book so very well written I very very rarely do reviews but felt strongly on leaving one on this book/whole series. I seriously can't give enough praise every character good and bad bring so much life and excitement. the story is very different than anything I've ever listened to. there's so much action humor love/romance family ties everything you can imagine is in this authors stories. the performance is outstanding do yourself a favor listen rather than read. you can start here it may be a bit confusing though so to get the full fantastic enjoyment go to the very beginning. Do not hesitate like I said the series is very different in a good way be prepared for no life except to get to the next book.

supernatural and romance collide in this series

Having never listened or read a Maggie Lilly book I didn't know what to expect, especially after finding out this is a spin off with most of the characters from another series.
I really enjoyed this first book and although it was a little hard to follow in the beginning I was able to keep up mid way through.
Maggie built an intricate world with a plethora of characters that I want more of!

Luke is the main male character, with Ciara as the female lead. There are a ton of supporting characters that felt more like a team of main characters because they were so integral to this book. It reminded me of a supernatural Avengers!

Neill Thorne has quickly become my favorite new narrator and I'm loving that he narrated this solo.
At no point did I feel like I was missing a female narrator. He's magical with his ability to use inflection and tone as well as pitch and accents to voice all these characters. Very impressive because most narrators can't do that!

I hope he's narrating the rest of this series.
I'm going to need to hoard my credits for these books!!

All in all, Im happy I've found another new to me author thanks to wanting more of Neill's narration!

Great transition from the Circle

I wasn’t sure what to expect after The Circle series was finished. But, holy hell, I am so glad I decided to continue reading into the next series. Maggie does a great job of creating characters you want to know about. Characters that have you 100% vested in the outcome.

I can’t wait to see how Luke’s life progresses from here.

Love love love this!!

Fair warning I love Maggie’s books but I am usually not a fan of audiobooks. My husband likes to listen to them while I enjoy reading them. Thank goodness I listened to this one after he recommended it! I love Neill Thorne’s voice! He does an excellent job. I can clearly tell who is talking by the different tones he uses. Plus, he doesn’t sound silly when doing the women’s or children’s voices. This is an excellent addition to my library and have listened to it many times over!! Thank you Maggie M Lily and Neill Thorne! Bravo on a job well done!

The story comes alive in this recording!

Having already read the great story, I was delighted at the high quality of the reader and his input on the story. He really makes the characters’ voices varied and real for me. His insight into the nuances and emotions ring true. Don’t miss this audible series!

in their 30s but Written as early 20s so be warned

Struggled to finish, excellent elements not fully developed. Character development dependent on previous series. I haven't read any of those books so I was lost.

Heroine, I guess she was that role, was voiced in a monotone even when she was in a passionately angry mood. Not to mention her whole role was a very boring and a bit creepy. I expected more from a character named The Huntress.
