Great story but a complaint.

Once again kurtis Eckstein wrote another incredible volume in this series. That being said, I have one complaint. At the end of volume 3 it is discovered that Sam's thought to be deceased daughter has the power of reincarnation and has come back in the form a baby with Freya as her new mother. At the end of volume 3 this was a huge discovery and plot twist that threw the story and the families life into chaos. But in this volume that discovery seems to be completely overshadowed by Sam's possible new relationship to the Stockton sisters and is thrown to the wayside like that big plot point didn't matter at all. On that same note, it also felt like Sam was this overly horny guy who only ever had his mind on perverse thoughts. Despite him having 2 young children (One that came back after years of being thought dead) he hardly ever actually spent time with them as a father. These issues are not insignificant but I didn't feel they warranted a lower review. This volumes main selling point is most definitely the end. Kurtis Eckstein has a way of ending his stories with incredible twists that are hard to completely predict and like all the previous volumes, he did not fail to deliver with this one. If nothing else the ending makes it worth getting to.

yeah not bad

yeah so not overall. the beginning I wasn't too thrilled about but as the story continued it got better. honestly it's going to act like how I felt for the whole series. It has gotten better as the story has continued and I am interested in what comes next. I always like to call out narrator in this case a team. for these two they're one of my favorite teams of all time and the performance is always excellent.

Still great

seems like it's been a while since the last installment, or I've just read (listened to) alot of other stuff since the last installment BUT I was able to just jump back into the book, remember all the MC's and enjoy the WHOLE story. This book is still excellent and if it continues I'll still be with it.

Best series I've heard. Adult book great story

Great series overall I hope it doesn't end here. Great adult content not overdone with great storyline. I'm glad they switched to male and female narration after first book, it would not of been anywhere as good if they just kept it with one male narrator.

Need More!

Can't wait for the next audiobook! love the series which is certainly a slower burn then other harem esk type of novels, but appreciate that in its own right.

Enjoyable book

I enjoy this author a great deal, the premise of the books is interesting. The main protagonist is Sam, but i love how we get to know the people close to him and the author takes the time to lets us see the others points of view. This series is not flawless but most harem type books have a Over-Powered protagonist, and the auther does an ok balance. I really hope he lets us get a POV from Eve, I find myself loving the Rose and Eve. I do think the group is getting too big it's getting abit thin with time with characters.

Pro's
Voice acting: I love the voice actors they do a great job
Characters: Would like to see more POV from Rose or Eve.
Explanation of powers gives a good visual even if it clumsy sometimes.

Con's
Pacing: Pacing is an issue all these issues seem to show up at the speed of light, Any organization implicated would be more calculating but seems Sam's power is I want it now and all the bad guys go "ok time to go die" and grow stupid jeans. There seems to no real threat to Sam or the "family" cause there is always someone to protect them. Unlike in a previous book where Rose got hurt bad. I legit feel that was some of his best writing, i did not feel that emotion and power in this book.

Family size: It feels it's a bit big, please do not expand it,

Conclusion: Good book, well worth the listen/read. I do think raising the stakes so fast hurts the narrative and world building, and only like a year maybe 2 in 4 books, and the growth in Sam and the family feels rushed. I could see this stretching out if the author paced himself more. Either way thank you for another book sir.
