Publisher's summary

From twisted toys to gut-wrenching games, this collection of terrifying tales is unsettling enough to mess with even the most hardened Five Nights at Freddy's fans. In this volume, series creator Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length stories from different corners of his series' canon.

Listeners beware: In this startling world, desperate wishes have an unexpected cost, beautiful trinkets reveal appalling powers, and harmless pranks can go awry in ghastly ways.

A Solid collection

overall, each story in this collection was pretty good. If I had to pick the weakest, its probably the titular "Prankster" with the strongest being "Find Player 2."
The Stitchwraith segment was a mixed bag of interesting connections and kind of weak conclusions.

I guess we only get one more of these. so lets hope it ends on a high note.

loved the themes

*SOME SPOILERS*

PRANKSTER: While, yes, it was a great story, I didnt enjoy it because of all the gore. Really bad with blood, and really imaginative mind. The lore part was so small, that i almost missed it. Something happened after they tested the VR Game... THEME: POSSESSION

KIDS AT PLAY: Very sad story. To imagine how many other people suffered the same fate just like Jole did, is heartbreaking. They deserved it- yes- but why end like this. Also, i was for sure that the kids died, but am I glad he's alive? (he was suffering the whole time, i was surprised he didn't pass out or something) THEME: BODY-SNATCHING

FIND PLAYER 2: (favorite) The feeling of guilt is what killed Amy in this story. I know that feeling: letting someone down (someone who trusted you). I felt what Amy felt. Again, the main character deserved to be punished since they had abandoned a person to die. THEME: DEATH BY FAZBEAR ENTERTAINMENT MATERIAL/PRODUCT

STICHWRAITH EXCERPT: Someone using the Ball Pit other than Afton (well, not really)? Is that a reference to Millie from the COUNT THE WAYS book?! How? Wholesome Jake, fixing all those lost souls. :) RIP Eleanor. Who or what's in the pendant!? I know remnant, but whom's souls?
All the books are great can't just choose the best or of all 33!

Pretty good

It was pretty good. The stitch wraith stuff is hard to keep up with but I loved all stories, the first story was pretty gory tho not too scary.

It was ok....

This book started off with a compelling story but it left me lost and confused. I stopped listening to the book for a while then came back to more of the same with the body snatching. The last story was good. The narrator did a great job and I like the effort she put in making a southern accent lol. Overall the last story is the only one that would be memorable for me.
