Claire has no faith in marriage and she based her decision to not get married on the examples of her parents and siblings' multiple divorces. She and Jimmy have been living together for ten years and she will still not see his devotion and commitment. She has avoided a serious talk with her parents about marriage and she disbelieves Jimmy when he talks about his parents' wonderful, faithful marriage.Claire & Jimmy
