I enjoyed Lizzie and how she made him think about her and what he wanted. The teasing from the other men to help him relieve that he loved her.

I loved The Rogue! Thomas Randolph and Isabel Stewart is one of my favorite couples in the series! The story, based from facts, really pulled me in and I wanted this couple to be together.

Fantastic Novella from beginning to end. Loved how it backtracked a bit and followed the series. Laughed out loud a few times! One of the best series I’ve ever read.

This story is listed as a novella so by definition it is shorter than a novel. I think the author should have taken more time with it and made it into a novel. It is too short and ends too abruptly. More development was needed for each of the main characters to make them more believable by the end of the story. I wasn’t even sure they got married at the end of the story. I had to go back and listen again because the story just seemed to stop. I was just starting to like the “hero” and the “heroine” needed to quit playing games and get on with it. Too much “getting back” at Randy! As I said in the title: has potential but needs more work.

Not the best but not the worst. Has potential.
