About this listen

Conor Brady is the hottest man I have ever laid eyes on. Ever. He’s also my new roommate.

In the past few days, I became jobless, homeless, and boyfriendless.

So, I did what any 28-year-old woman with her life together would do: I ran. Far, far away from my life in New York and straight to my big brother’s house in Atlanta.

Only, it turns out that my brother is away on a business trip. And he failed to tell me that a full-on, godlike hottie - who happens to be a premier house flipper - has taken up residence in the spare bedroom while his enormous new house is being renovated.

There’s a million reasons why I shouldn’t fall for Conor.

But our chemistry is undeniable.

Which means I have a teeny, tiny situation on my hands....

The Roommate Situation is a laugh-out-loud funny, swoony, closed-door romantic comedy. Expect some mild language and suggestive jokes alongside sizzling-hot chemistry and tension you could cut with a knife - all without the explicit scenes.

Fun story! I loved Jess, because I could see a lot of myself in her. Struggles with insecurity. I loved how Connor saw her, when she couldn't really see herself. He was precious and such a prince. Great story.

so enjoyed!

The story line and characters were adorable. Love the clean romance and complete absence of f-bombs used as punctuation. However, the female narrator sounded like a teenager as opposed to a grown woman, and the male narrator sounded like he was auditioning as a weatherman. Inflection was all wrong, and like he was trying too hard. Almost intolerable and absolutely not suited for the male character that supposed to be manly and masculine. I won't be listening to the second book because of it 😒

Hard to listen but loved the story

Hi enjoyed the dual POV and two narrators. They made it very easy and enjoyable to listen too! I even kept it at 1.3x instead of my usual 1.5 or 1.7.
I enjoyed the story of forced proximity and inevitably falling in love with the brothers best friend.

Falling in love with a Fixer-upper

The story was cute and light hearted. Perfect to listen to while doing housework. Female narrator was more suited to that of a teen character.

Cute and light hearted
