Publisher's summary

Elizabeth Camden’s inspirational fiction takes listeners on an unparalleled emotional journey.

In The Rose of Winslow Street, Libby Sawyer and her father return from summer vacation to find another family living in their home. Widower Michael Dobrescu brought his family all the way from Romania to stake a decades-old claim on their house, and he has no plans to leave. As a contentious legal battle drags on, Libby finds herself drawn to Michael and his mysterious past. But she’ll soon have to choose between her family and a man with decidedly unclear intentions.

Clean (although mature) romance

This was a Christian romance novel with several plot twists and interesting characters. The story was clean in that there is no description of “married people things” however, It does mention mature matters as the rape of a character is implied. Normally I’d let my 12 year old daughter read this genre; however, not this one. The beauty of the narrative speaks of divine purpose for suffering and redemption through faith so I really enjoyed that.

Out of nowhere wonderful!

Lovely. This book is truly lovely.

I must say there is a fine line between that is thicker than I thought between fictional and the real character of Man. The male lead from Romania was so beautifully created, and written with so much clarity I must give a round of applause to the author for such a Job well done.

This book was such a blessing to enjoy. I must say I am curious of her other creations and look forward exploring what that will be

Lastly I have to harp on the example of family. A man raising his children with love. Fulfilling your Godly purpose. And no matter how things change there are those who have seen a side of life that affirms them in their God given truth and purpose in him.

I am so happy I came across this author and this collection of work. This book has to be on your list of "Must listens". No excuse

Enjoyable tale

interesting, romantic story dramatized but with humorous parts. This is the type of book that makes you fall in love with the characters not wanting the tale to end. The narrator was also excellent making the story so much more enjoyable.

Good story but didn't care for narrator's voice

I love Elizabeth Camden's writing and this story was good. I simply didn't care for the narrator's voice. Had listened to another book she narrated earlier this year. However, Elizabeth Camden is still among my favorite authors of historical fiction.

Absolutely incredible!

First, Barbara Rosenblatt is one of the best narrator’s I have ever heard. She has the most perfect voice for this job! She put on so many different voices and accents for this story and did it so well that I repeatedly forgot it was one person. Second, this story was so phenomenal. SO phenomenal. It was so good that I feel like screaming about it until my voice box bursts into flames.

Heartwarming with Great Narration

Where does The Rose of Winslow Street rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best books I've read. I felt as if I was there feeling all the characters were experiencing. Details were presented so that I could imagine the sights and sounds. Will be reading again!

Heartwarming and Engaging

This story wrenched my heart because I also struggle with learning difficulties and the isolation they sometimes bring. I felt the Author covered beautifully the struggles we all face with the many differences we face in our society. The negative ways we sometimes handle them and the ability to overcome and accept each other as the wonderful creations of a Higher Being. A Beautiful love story illustrating how we sometimes find the beauty within ourselves thru the the eyes of another, and the enabling power of service to those around us. The Narrator skillfully pulled us along and I was pulled in till the wonderful ending. Bravo!
