Publisher's summary

Her weapons: money and power. Her target: the most dangerous man in the world—her own son. Elizabeth Wyckham Scarlatti has a plan, a desperate, last-minute gamble designed to save the world from her son, Ulster, an incalculably cruel man who is working for the Third Reich under the name of Heinrich Kroeger. If Elizabeth cannot stop him, Ulster will give Hitler the most powerful instrument on earth.

Good ending

I thought the story dragged for too long in the first third of the book. But the ending was made up for several hours of slowly building story.

Typically fun and engrossing!

If you like Ludlum this is a great one. Hoye does a great job narrating. He doesn't get in the way of the story but enhances it. Definitely a fun book.

Return to college

First Ludlum book I read back in college at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Contemporary lit. 35 years have passed. Enjoyed anew.

junk

Can't believe Ludlum wrote this cliche piece of junk. listened to half hoping it'd get better, but kept getting more and more trite.
