About this listen

Catch up with Izzy, Erin, Baghead, and Delfino in the fifth volume in The Scattered and the Dead series.

Endings and beginnings. The road trip from hell continues as planned. Delfino shares revelations from his past as Baghead begins to recover from his injury. But there's a problem. They're being followed.

What drives people to destroy each other? And what drives some of them to survive and take care of one another no matter how dark things get?

Izzy and Erin stare these questions in the face. And after this, they'll never be the same.

Very Enjoyable Series

Well drawn characters. Love how each chapter has their own voice both written and narrated.

A must for TSATD fans

The audio books of The Scattered and The Dead are an excellent addition to this series. I seems that once again I have stumbled across a few things I missed when reading the original books. I enjoyed going back and getting origin stories for Erin, Izzie, and Delfino. Through these stories you get a feel for what may have been the trigger event, but what you really get is the understanding of why Erin is so protective of Izzie. The addition of TSATD 2.6 following 2.5 is great because it gets us back to the storyline from TSATD 2.0.
Christopher Boucher does an excellent job of narration and shifting between each character, I’m hoping the next episode of TSATD is on the horizon.

best narrator ever!

really great story I loved listening to these books. the narrator is amazing! I've listened to a lot of books on Audible but I haven't found a narrator that does a better job than he does. it makes it hard to listen to any other books because he's the best narrator ever. but the story is a great story I love Erin and Izzy. I need more.

New Narrator

I hadn't expected someone new to be reading. Of course I didn't even look to see who the narrator was because I had assumed it would be Tim McBain and LT Vargus. Not a bad narrator and AGAIN the story is awesome. Still loving this series.

Great to fill fill in some characters’ back stories

Enjoyed getting Erin and Izzy’s backstory and then advancing their characters and introducing some new storylines.

Great Book. Great Series. A must read

I love this series. I am so hooked. The raw emotions depicted is so addictive. Narrator is one of the best I have listened to. His range of man woman and child is awesome. Not to mention the voices from different parts of this country

70% boring backstory 30% Interesting stuff

I feel like the backstory for both characters could have been four chapters each, that was rough to get through and a lot of it made no sense. things pick up after that painful experience though
