About this listen

They call it the Scion School.... Jacey calls it prison. She has no parents. None of the students on this remote Caribbean island do.

The world beyond? Destroyed by an asteroid impact long ago. So what happens after graduation? The last class walked into the medical ward and was never seen again.

They've all been told lies. Lies and more lies! Jacey hates herself for believing them for so long.

They've trained her body and mind to peak condition...for some purpose. But what? Do they expect her to walk meekly into...whatever happens in the medical ward? No. She will take it by storm. Full of fury. And she will rip the the Scion School apart to save herself and her friends. To discover who she is. And what she is.

This compelling heroine will win your heart. Join this cast on an adventure full of action and twists you'll never see coming. Often compared to The Island and Never Let Me Go, this beloved series has YA dystopian fans raving for more.

Make this complete four-audiobook series your next audiobook binge!

Wasn't sure I would like it...

Narrator was good.
The story line was compelling , because whi's to say this isn't in the works or will be a future scenario as far as cloning goes. The Gov't is Secretive, & the Private sector has joined the ranks.
Some of the actions of characters in the story got you thinking, " ok, how can you be so naive" to put it politely. But then again they are unwordly teenagers!
the last book did a bit of jumping around and then the author tied up the ending rather quickly, compared to the other situations that were pretty detailed and took a while to work thru to the next situation.( I honestly feel she cheated the last book and story's ending, it was short & sweet, and came before you realized it. I was sitting here looking at the review page that instantly popped up, realizing the ending over the last (Few) chapters had left me with questions. My actual thought was, she" the author" must have had run up on her deadline so she tied up the ending post haste ! )¿? O.K. I'm good, its over, would be nice if she continued with a sequel, there's plenty of future to write.....?¿

Best, believable, series I’ve read in quite a while!

This is a new author for me, and I’ll definitely look for author books by Eric Edstrom. The narrator, Nancy Peterson was excellent, throughout the series. I noticed many narrators miss pronounce words to the point where are you think how old are you? But Nancy was on top of her narration all the way through. The story itself was actually believable which made it more interesting too. I’d highly recommend the series to anyone who enjoys this type of a book. I had a hard time not listening to every word.
