Publisher's summary

Altaïr embarks on a formidable mission - one that takes him throughout the Holy Land and shows him the true meaning of the Assassin's Creed. To demonstrate his commitment, Altaïr must defeat nine deadly enemies, including Templar leader Robert de Sablé. Here, for the first time, Niccolò Polo, father of Marco, shares Altaïr's remarkable story: his ongoing battle with the Templar conspiracy; a family life that is as tragic as it is shocking; the betrayal of an old friend; and a journey that will ultimately change the course of history.

Awesome perspective of Altair

If you’re an Assassin’s Creed fan, especially if you are a fan of Altair, this is fantastic. Awesome narrative, good reader, great way to sink into the world and story of AC. It breaks my heart to see Altair isn’t in the opening of the new games, it starts with Ezio instead. This was what I needed to bring me back to my original love for the series. I deeply enjoyed it, it’s really a deeper look into Altair’s story in the first game (if you are looking for Desmond’s perspective as a well though, this only focuses on Altair, no mention of Desmond or the animus.) I recommend it though. I enjoyed my experience and I’ll read more of these books

Love these

First off, Oliver Bowden is fantastic, second, the stories are wonderful, they sound excellent in a book/audiobook and it makes sense why the games did so well. Real thought was put into all of characters and development of the story and it’s a good time.

Worth the price.

This is a well read book based off a game. I would recommend it to you as I will recommend it to my friends, the narrative feels like an assassin would have read it to you & the story has your interest peaked.

A great historical fiction

Gildart Jackson weaves a richly textured historical fiction that is the 2nd installment of Assassin's Creed : The Secret Crusade. Characters are wonderfully developed as is the plot. Thank you for a great story.
