A lovely and emotional story

When I considered listening to this novel I read a review that said this writing seemed undeveloped or formulaic, I couldn’t disagree more, the story was well developed and I felt the mystery was kept hidden almost to the end where it then took on a sweet and emotional feel. Unlike one of her other stories that I could guess the mystery from almost the beginning.
This story kept my attention all the way through and the narrator was excellent. She surprised me with her ability to perform many different accents and she kept the excitement and mystery going. Highly recommend!

Cute story but nothing happens.

This was a cute story. I kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. It felt a bit like it was written using the formula taught in college creative writing classes. Yes, it was a bit slow. No, nothing exciting or shocking ever happens. But I still enjoyed listening to the story - helped along by Imogen Church - and felt it’s worth a credit for a light and easy “read.”
