Wow, what an ending. This is a definite put on your list for a must read, enjoyed every single minute and will be definetely be reading more books of Rachel. The narration was excellent.

If ever there were a cast of characters with so many secrets and hidden lies, there is in this book.I never came close to even guessing "who done it." If you enjoy mysteries, I highly recommend this book. The narrator also gave a great performance

Another interesting plot, with twists and turns. Happy that the same narrator read it as in the last book. Sounds like this story will be continued, perhaps, in the next book!? Or maybe it's just to give one thought as to things ahead in the life of the main character. On to the next book in this series.

Very engrossing, engaging book. Loved every second of it. Totally unexpected since I don't remember listening to any of Rachel Abbott's book before, but I will look for more of her books.

I can’t believe this author keeps surprising me! The storyline is captivating from start to surprise ending. Creatively written easy to read. I always want try and guess ahead what mystery will be revealed and never figure out quite where she’s going! Finished in 2 days!

I think this is my favorite of all of her books so far.

Fascinating web of a life, or should I say dual lives?

The main character is extremely accomplished in all of our efforts throughout her life. She’d have to be to be able to manage, all of the terrible things that it happened to her.

If I were to title the book, I’d probably call it web of lies

Thoroughly enjoyed this thrilling story of a family which consists of a husband and wife, Anna and Dominic, who appear to be safe and secure in their relationship, who seem to be happy with their place in life with two wonderful children, a nice home, and an excellent career for the wife while the disabled husband remains at home. But are they. There are secrets, paralyzing secrets - secrets in the past, secrets in the present, secrets in the coming future. The story begins in the present when a phone call to a tell-all talk show by Anna's "dead" boyfriend, Scott, triggers a cascade of events which grow with intensity and fear and build to an incredible climax. As the story unfolds, we are thrust into the past with Anna and Scott with events when Anna was in college and afterwards, the results of which have carried forward into her marriage, her career, and everything and everyone she touches. This very talented author weaves the tale by taking us back and forth in Anna's life, while bringing in the psychology of the impact of secrets which tend to grow and grow until they consume entire lives. This is actually Book 8 in the Inspector Tom Douglas series, and he has a significant role when people involved in the secrets start being murdered. But this book is more like The Anna Series, Book 1. And what an ending......
