I have listened to this book about 20 times now and I still laugh out loud.
I love Peter Kay and the narration is spot on by him. This book has no boring parts at all. He even side tracks into stories not in the book. a MUST listen.

Not only do you get Mr Kay reading the book, but you also get him commenting on and adding to it. Great format. My only wish was that is was longer. Hope for a sequel.

Very enjoyable

Not a fan generally of autobiographies but Peter and his relatable stories won me over and made this the best autobiographical piece I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing.

Faultless delivery of the story

In this memoir, Peter Kay takes the reader on his road to comedy fame. The strength of his writing is found in the ability to find humor in the mundane moments in life. It’s a lesson in not taking yourself too seriously. Great read!

He reads, he riffs

This doesn't feel like Peter is reading his book, it feels more like he's just telling everything off the top of his head. This is a hilarious listen, stuff that wouldn't come across in the book as well

Top bombin'

A truly, candid, entertaining and honest autobiography that was never meant to be written. Nice to hear the story of a comedian that did not have a tragic backstory Instead, it seems like the story of a Hometown underdog that makes it to the top.

Candid and entertaining
