About this listen

Woodlands Avenue is a peaceful and tranquil street, picturesque with Victorian-era homes and lined with trees. Verity Forsyth lives at 27A, and is enjoying her early retirement, active social calendar, and occasional babysitting duties. Katie Ross is starting over, leaving her old home and her controlling ex behind and moving into a new apartment. When Katie and her beloved motorbike move into 27B, she finds herself immediately in conflict with her upstairs neighbour, Verity. Two such forceful personalities under one roof is a recipe for disaster. When disaster strikes, will they be able to put aside their differences and call a truce?

Loved this book

So far Amanda Ridley didn’t disappoint me with ALL her books, and this one was excellent as well. Narration was excellent as well. Loved the age gap and the enemy to friend to lovers story.

Lightweight entertainment

Mostly lightweight and entertaining.

Some witty dialogue. A little too much narrator infill of interior thoughts and background.

(Just wanted to note that confronting an abusive partner alone whom one has recently left isn’t usually wise.)

Not bad but story is a little flat

Age gap romance with forced enemies to lovers story line. Good enough to listen to the entire book but will likely not listen to again.
