Publisher's summary

When leaving feels like it’s forever, but home is always right there waiting for you to come back...

Cassidy Lewis had always dreamed of following in her mother’s footsteps, opening an award-winning florist. But Cassidy wanted bigger and better. She wanted to be thriving among the hustle and bustle of London; something her sleepy town of Plumstoke lacked. Finding the perfect store for her dream to flourish was easy, what was hard was moving to a whole new city and leaving behind the one person she thought she’d never be without. Allie. When her mother passes away suddenly, she’s forced to head back home alone to deal with the hardest good-bye a person ever has to say.

Allie Campbell, resident sweetheart, has been pushing through loss after loss. When she watched Cassidy—the woman who should have been her wife—drive away three years ago, Allie never thought she’d see her again. Sadly, the most dreadful of circumstances has brought her back. Can Allie be the friend that’s needed, the shoulder to cry on, the hand to hold? Will Cassidy realize that she doesn’t want to let go this time?

If you enjoy small-town second-chance romances filled with bucket loads of hope and love, don't miss Melissa Tereze's brand-new release!

Sweet Allie!

This book is a story of love, loss and reunion between two women who where destined to be together. A very heart warming tale. It is well written and worth the time to read or listen to it. I highly recommend!

Slow but good

Well written, good story, a little too slow for my test, but I enjoy it. The MC were good, I liked Allie better, but that was the goal, wasn’t it? Narration was excellent, I love the accent as well as the sound.

uggg

6.5 hours of angst and heartbreak. That is all. I couldn't finish the last couple hours, There is no real story, just constant sadness with no end in sight. The narrator was pretty good, which helped get through of the angst.

melodramatic whine fest

Every time I listen to a book from this author I spend the whole book yelling at my phone. There's so much unnecessary angst in her books. So much self loathing and martyrdom. Its sickening. This book could have ended 3 hours earlier and nothing world have been missed. Hopefully there's not a sequel featuring their kids. I picture them breast feeding until the age of 12, pausing between suckles to obsessively apologize for the pain they caused their mommies during child birth.

Ugh

Allie was an uncompromising a$$. She pretends she was broken up with but she’s the one who broke up with Cassidy. She isn’t a sweetheart as advertised
