About this listen

Sinatra, a notorious federal marshal, is drafted into a domestic black ops group.

Their mission - arrest the untouchable.

An international terrorist slips through the East Coast and takes up residence inside an impregnable mountain chateau - within American borders but beyond legal reach. Her name is El Gato and she's a top priority for both the DEA and FBI.

The situation is dicey and politically explosive, perfect for Sinatra and his team. Sometimes a scythe works better than a hammer.

Sinatra (real name - Manny Martinez) doesn't realize the dangerous waters into which he wades. This terrorist holds the key to his past and his future. He and the mysterious El Gato have tangled before....

I had some trouble starting and staying, not because of the writing, but the narration. Eventually the book grabbed hold and my brain gave less attention to the narrator and more to the words. Definitely a fast paced book with some great twists and turns. Just downloaded the next book in the series!!

Great Book!

First of all, I was completely shocked to learn that the author and story was based in my hometown of Roanoke. As a published author myself, it felt good to hear the details of Roanoke. Second, I really enjoyed the storyline and it's pace. Agent Sinatra was very likable and his arrogance was overbearing.

It's not as good as Mackenzie August, but still very good. Manny has an attitude that is very charming and irritate at the same time. The characters are all interesting and diverse. Good book .

Exciting to the last
