About this listen

This is the exciting conclusion to the best-selling collection by medieval master author Kathryn Le Veque.

1258 AD - Tiberius, the youngest de Shera brother, falls in love with the lovely Lady Douglass, the daughter of an enemy knight. But love knows no boundaries as Tiberius and Douglass find themselves swept up in the politics of Simon de Montfort against Henry III, and Tiberius' loyalty is soon called into question. Is he still siding with de Montfort or has he decided to follow his heart and, therefore, the enemy? It soon becomes a game of espionage, honor, and family loyalties as Tiberius must choose what's more important to him - de Montfort's cause or Douglass' love.

This was the best of the series

Lots of tension and historical information for the history nuts like me. Plus good character development to make the romance an important part of the story.

Great audio series

Gethyn Edwards did a fantastic job of narrating The Thunder Lords series. The story of the three de Shera brothers and their love for one another is timeless.

Love the series

This is Tiberius' story. He is the baby of the three brothers and in the story it shows. At first I was getting a little disappointed in Tiberius', he came off weak. However, as the story develops you get a clear picture of his character. The story is enjoyable and I like the way it ends. I wish there was a book 4.

Very Sad

Someone must have experienced a death watch of loved one in order to write in such accurately. I was brought back to the events when my father was laid dying right down to the smell that permeated the air. I grieved for my father as well as the death of a strong character in this book. Bravo Le Veque.

Words cannot tell how much I enjoyed The Lords of Thunder! They will always stay in my mind. The audiobooks of all three brothers will live with me forever. Ty is the Knight in shining armor for me. Don't miss a one of their stories. So much great emotion! Kathryn is a master of Medieval tales!

I can not understand the narrator!

What disappointed you about The Thunder Knight?

I don't even understand what the heck is going on! The narrator is that bad.

Would you ever listen to anything by Kathryn Le Veque again?

Yes I love Kathryn Le Veque's books. I own over half of them.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

He mumbles, and does not fully pronounce words. It feel like I'm trying to listen to a guy who has stage fright, and so he isn't using the microphone the way it's suppose to be used.

What character would you cut from The Thunder Knight?

Im only on chapter 3, and I haven't heard enough to answer that question.

Any additional comments?

Please fix it. I think it's a problem with your recording equipment, because sometimes he sounds far away, and blurry.
