I loved every second of The Virgin Game Plan!! This forbidden sports romance will make you swoon. I loved Reese and Holden. Holden isn’t your cocky baseball player, he sweet, sexy and has a great heart! Holden agrees to do a podcast interview with Reese and these two hit it off from the start! After one day together they want more, only life takes them in different directions. Time doesn’t lessen the feelings their short time together invoked. When their paths cross again their feelings haven’t changed, but a curveball neither expected makes this relationship seem impossible. I loved the way this story came together and way Reese and Holden fought and never gave up!

Jason Clarke and Ava Erickson were perfect together and gave the characters a spark that made you want to listen forever!

As a huge fan of Lauren Blakely and sports romance I had high expectations for this new book and it far and away exceeded everything I had hope for. Holden and Reese are an adorable couple who were absolutely meant to be together and fate made sure that happened. The steamy, sexy, romantic love story with very little angst and not too much drama was just exactly what I wanted from this book and it delivered. Jason Clarke and Ava Erickson were perfection and brought all the heat and the feels to this beautifully written and flawlessly performed audiobook. Worth a credit for sure!

The Virgin Game Plan is the second book in the Rules of Love series by the fabulous, Lauren Blakely. I am loving this series something fierce! These characters just make me happy! They are all sexy, sweet, funny and talented. I'm envious of their friendship bonds and I want to be friends with the women they fall for! Lauren is the queen character development. She introduces us to them once and we are always eager for more. So much more! The Virgin Game Plan is Holden and Reese's story. It's fresh, flirty, and funny. Holden and Reese met years ago and had an instant connection. They talked, shared things about themselves and both wanted more after the night was over. Fate had other plans and their lives and dreams took them in different directions. Now, it's two years later and they find themselves in the same town, in the same circles. And as soon as they see each other again it's like no time has passed. They want to pick up where they left off. Until her father becomes Holden's new coach. Now she's off limits. But they can't seem to stay away from each other. Is love worth the risk? I love this story! Holden is swoony, sexy, funny and smart. Reese is independent, knows who she is and talented. They are the perfect match. Career driven, but also want to follow their hearts. They show us that both are possible! This forbidden romance made me swoon so hard! The sexy, second baseman and the coach's daughter have off-the-charts chemistry!

I read the Men of Summer series first and was looking forward to Reese and Holden’s story from their parts in those books. This story did not disappoint . Love these characters and the interaction with some of my favorites from the world LB has created. Loved it! On to the next book in the series. Definitely an auto-buy when new books come available from this author. Narrators were great too!

If you want to feel-good and smile while you listen to a storyline where the hero and heroine instantly connect and are absolutely perfect for each other.. then this is your book. If you want to listen to a sweet flirty friendship which unfolds because a love relationship between them is forbidden but they just can’t stay away.. then look no further you’ve found your next entertaining listen. If you want to love and respect two characters because they really really try to stay away from each other but really really can’t help failing and falling.. then one click this well-written sweet love story. And, if you want to hear two narrators who are awesome and the perfect choice for the characters and the storyline.. then buy this now and treat your ears.

I do love a bad bad boy.. but sometimes it’s really nice to listen to a good boy who waited two years for a second-chance with the right woman. I love a woman who knows what she wants and Reese is one-hundred percent certain she wants Holden and have a second-chance to lose her virginity to him. Their Baseball fuelled relationship has delicious stepping-stones and just the right amount of waiting where ‘off-limits’ slowly bends, crosses lines and nicely leads to happily ever afters. There’s hurt and character growth in there too as a daughter tries to forgive and get to know her absentee Father and his new pregnant wife.

Worth a credit? When I want a feel-good romance with chemistry, sex, swoons, sighs, smiles and a solid low-to-no angst story then there’s no-one better to give me what I’m looking for than Lauren Blakely.. so yes, this story is definitely worth a credit.

A FEEL-GOOD, SWEET ‘OFF LIMITS’ ROMANCE

A connection like theirs is rare and they both knew it.  Sadly, it just wasn't their time, because they each still had some growing to do in their careers. A chance meeting at a party years later proves just how strong of a connection they have. With lines like this, "Good. That's how you should be kissed so you don't forget how it feels when my lips touch you." My god, this was the swooniest book ever! I fell in love with Holden and Reese and I really think you all will too!
Can we talk about how amazing Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke were in this book? I just loved their performances in this book.

From the time they met within minutes of this audiobook starting, Holden and Reese captured my heart, and this has to be the quickest I started rooting for a couple.

Reese was this confident, self-assured, badass in the making. I loved that she knew what she wanted, and had no problem working to get it. Holden pretty much had his professional life mapped out. He was new to major league baseball, and wanted to make the most of the opportunity. Holden wasn't interested in random hook-ups, so dating was rare for him, and he was fine with that. He had goals to attain, and a relationship wasn't part of his plans. Until he met Reese.

No spoilers, but I loved how Holden and Reese had that almost immediate click between them. They prolonged their time together, and it looked like Cupid was playing matchmaker w/them. Until an important event happens, and puts their hearts and flowers on hold. Reese focused on her job, and Holden focused on baseball. As busy as they were, they remained hopeful that the stars would line up for them. Their positivity, hope, and faith were so inspiring.

This was a beautifully sweet love story. Of course, Lauren brings plenty of the heat we've come to expect. Jason and Ava were amazing in their narration. I can't wait for the next story in this awesome series.
